ITINERARY

Manipur and Nagaland combined Itineary other than Festival time:

Day 1: Arrive at Imphal Airport and transfer to hotel. Imphal city sightseeing in the evening.

Day 2: After breakfast we will proceed for Imphal City Tour, visit Imphal War Cemetery this place was built to commemorate the British and Indian soldiers who died during World War II, Manipur State Museum, Kangla Fort the ancient capital of Manipuri Kingdom till 1891, Ema Market the famous market run only by womenfolk and Shree Shree Govindajee Temple.

Day 3: After breakfast,we will drive to Moirang ( 45 Kms from Imphal ) to visit Loktak Lake the largest freshwater lake in North East India. Stopovers at ISKCON Temple, India Peace Memorial (a memorial built to commemorate the Japanese soldiers who died at the Battle of Red Hill during WW2. The Battle of Red Hill is one of the fiercest battles fought during the Second World War), Visit Keibul Lamjao National Park (the only floating national park in the world and home to the brow antlered Sangai deer). Visit INA Memorial Complex the Indian Tricolour flag was first hoisted here by Indian National Army before Independence. Visit LOKTAK LAKE and enjoy a quick boat ride on the lake. Lunch at Sendra Resort. Drive back to Imphal.

Day 4 : Post breakfast transfer to Nagaland. It is about 5 hours journey. We will stay at homestay for better cultural exchange. After check in go for nearby village walk. Evening free.

Day 5 : After breakfast visit kisama heritage village.. Then visit to the Kohima War Cemetry St. Cathedral Church and state museum Night stay at Kisama.

Day 6 : After breakfast set in for Khonoma village . Khonoma is an Angami Naga village located about 20 km west from the state capital, Kohima. The total population of the village is about 2000, settled in 424 households. It is the first green village in India. Night stay at Kohima.

Day 7 : After breakfast drop to the Dimapur Airport
